WOOD & Company, a member of M&A International Inc. advises Slovak Telekom on the divestment of its broadcasting division

Bratislava, 29 October 2007. M&A International Inc. member WOOD & Co., investment bank in Central Europe with offices in the Czech and Slovak Republics and Romania, is pleased to announce the successful completion of the divestment of the broadcasting division of Slovak Telekom.

The broadcasting division is a dominant provider of television and radio transmission services in the Slovak Republic. Slovak Telekom is national incumbent telecom operator with management control exercised by Deutsche Telekom.

The broadcasting division will be seeking to develop further its dominant position, enhance service quality, broadcasting reliability, transmission and data market and play an important role in the upcoming broadcasting digitalization.
